On 22nd of December 2022, the Lagos State Waterways Authority commenced the Year 2022 Water Hyacinth Training in Falomo, where women and youth are being taught to make marketable products from dried water hyacinth.
The fundamental responsibility of LASWA is to manage, improve and enhance navigation opportunities for Lagos State inland waterways.
