PROVISION OF PORTAL CABIN FOR LASWA WATERGUARDS

Further to the mandate of LASWA in safeguarding the lives of all waterways users on the waterways, the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) kickstarted an aggressive and immediate global upgrade of jetties which is aimed and targeted at providing shelter for Water Guard corps who are stationed at the jetties enforcing safety and other boating regulations.
This shelter would enable them to effectively discharge their duties at the selected Jetties they are respectively posted to.
The jetties are selected primarily based on ridership and the need to effectively monitor the activities going on
The location that these cabins have been installed include Ilaje - Bariga Terminal, Ipakodo- Ikorodu Terminal and Ebute Ojo Terminal.
